2 1/2 c Unsifted flour
1 ts Baking soda
2 Eggs slightly beaten
1 Jar ready to use mincemeat
(28 oz) 1 cn Sweetened condensed milk NOT
evaporated milk (14 oz) 2 c Mi ed candied fruit (1 lb.)
1 c Nuts coarsely chopped
Preheat oven to 300`F. Grease a 9 inch tube pan line with wa paper and grease again (or use generously greased and floured 10 inch fluted tub pan). Sift together flour and baking soda set aside. In large bowl, combine remaining ingredients blend in dry ingredients. Pour into prepared pan. Bake 1 hour and 45 to 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool 15 minutes. Turn out of pan remove wa paper. Glaze and garnish as desired. Source: November 1984/Family MARY WILSON BWVB02B

Scoop out seeds with a sponn and discard. Dice cucumber. In a heavy 2 1/2 quart saucepan boil potatoes in salted water until the potatoes are very soft.
