2 c Sugar
3 c Flour
1 ts Soda
1 ts Salt
1 ts Cinnamon
pn Nutmeg 1 1/2 c Oil 4 Eggs 1 ts Vanilla 3 c Apples, red chopped (do not peel) 1 c Walnuts chopped 1 pt Cream, whipping whipped Sugar, powdered to taste (for sweetening cream) In large bowl of mi er, sift together dry ingredients. With mi er on slowest speed, add oil. At medium speed, add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla. Stir in the apples and walnuts. Turn batter into a greased tub pan. Bake at 350F for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes in pan and turn out on plate. Serve with sweetened whipped cream. From: Scott Welliver, Episoft Systems
