1/2 c Margarine or
Half margarine half butter c Sugar 2 Eggs
3 oz Chocolate melted
1 1/2 c Milk
1 ts Vanilla
1 ts Red food coloring
2 c Cake flour sifted
2 ts Baking powder
Salt 1 c Pecans finely chopped
Frosting: 1/4 c Butter or margarine
1 1/2 oz Chocolate melted
1 Egg beaten
1 ts Vanilla
1 pk Powdered sugar
1 c Pecans
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add chocolate, then add combined liquid ingredients alternately with combined dry ingredients. Add nuts. Bake in greased and floured 13 9 inch pan for appro imately 40 minutes at 350. Note.
Cake is delicious without pecans. Just use them in the frosting if you prefer. Frosting. Melt butter and chocolate. Add a small amount to beaten egg, then add back into chocolate mi ture. Add vanilla. Stir in powdered sugar and nuts.

3 Lbs. salmon filet cut in 8 pieces 6 onions sliced 4 C. red wine 1/3 C. sugar 2 C. cream 1/2 Stick butter Melt the butter in a large pot and add the onions. Let cook for 10 minutes and add the 2 cups red wine. Continue cooking until almost all the liquid evaporated. Season with sugar and salt and pepper to taste. Place the salmon filet in baking dish and add the remaining red wine and cream. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake at 475 degrees for 7 minutes. Lift out the cooked salmon and set aside.
