2 c Water, cold
1 lb Apples, cored, peeled and amp
cubed 3/4 1 lb Pears, cored, peeled, and amp
cubed 3/4 1/2 lb Cheeries, pitted
1/2 lb Plums, pitted
1/2 lb Peaches, peeled, pitted, and amp
cubed 3/4 1/2 c Bread crumbs, soft and amp fresh
1 T Fresh lemon juice
1 1/2 T Grated lemon rind
1/4 c Raspberry jam or preserves
1/2 c Sugar
3/4 c White wine, sweet
1 c Cranberry juice
Put the water, cinnamon, lemon juice bread crumbs, and the lemon rind in large pot. Bring to a boil, then add the fruits, reduce heat, and simmer for 25 minutes. Puree this mi ture in a blender then add the jam, wine, and amp cranberry juice. Mi well then refrigerate. Serve when well chilled. Note: Apple dumplings may be served in this soup.

1/2 lb Butter softened 6 oz Cream cheese room temp 3 c Flour 1/2 ts Salt 3/4 c Sugar 2 ts Cinnamon 6 T Raisins chopped 6 T Walnuts chopped 3/4 c Jam (apricot, strawberry, or raspberry) 1 Egg yolk 1 T Water Combine the butter and amp cream cheese and amp beat until well mi ed. Add the flour and amp salt and amp mi until completely blended. The dough will be easier to handle if you wrap and amp chill it for about an hour. Stir together 1/2 C. sugar and amp the cinnamon. Add the raisins and amp walnuts and amp toss to coat all the pieces....
