1 c Butter or other shortening
2 c Sugar
1 c Milk sweet or sour
1 ts Baking soda
2 ts Baking powder
6 c Flour sifted
Frosting: 1 ea Orange grind rind and all
1 tb Butter
1 lb Sugar powdered
Drop on cookie sheet, bake in 400 F. oven. When entirely cooled, ice with frosting. Note: Cream butter or shortening and sugar, combine remaining ingredients. For frosting, combine ingredients, mi till smooth. Source: Mrs. Ernest Clapp, Chatham Grange, Medina County, OH
