2/3 c Margarine or butter
5 oz Unsweetened chocolate
Cut into pieces 1 3/4 c Sugar
2 ts Vanilla
3 Eggs
1 c All purpose flour
1 c Chopped walnuts

Recipe by: Betty Crocker's Cookbook Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease square pan, 9 9 2 inches. Heat margarine and chocolate over low heat, stirring constantly, until melted cool slightly. Beat sugar, vanilla and eggs on high speed 5 minutes. Beat in chocolate mi ture on low speed. Beat in flour just until blended. Stir in nuts. Spread in pan. Bake 40 to 45 minutes or just until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan cool. Cut into 2 inch squares. 16 BROWNIES: 295 CALORIES PER BROWNIE.

1 tablespoon shortening 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon baking powder 2 cups flour 1/2 to 2/3 cup ice water Mi dry ingredients. Add shortening and ice water. May need to add a little flour. Roll on floured surface very thin. Cut into strips about 1 inch by 3 inches. Cut up one chicken and add to 1 quart of water. Add salt and pepper and half an onion.
