2 lb Ground beef
1 c Parmesan cheese
2 ea Garlic cloves
6 ea Leaves fresh parsley, chop
Olive oil for frying Salt/pepper 1 1/2 c Bread crumbs
2 ea Eggs
1/2 c Water
1/2 lb Mozzarella, cut lengthwise
into four pieces Tomato sauce
Mi all ingredients e cept mozzarella, thoroughly. Form into a firmly packed football shape. Make a deep lengthwise slit and stuff with mozzarella close meat loaf firmly around cheese.
Heat oil in a large fry pan and brown meat loaf on all sides. Gently lift out and place in simmering tomato sauce to cook slowly 30 45 minutes on low heat. Serve sliced with pasta or rice.
